Roses’ petals drop, solemnity’s abound,
empty faces, listless gazes staring at the ground.
Staring at my yearning, yet miles and miles away,
they watch their bitter earning with eyes that go astray.
Here I lie in peaceful bliss,
without a word, without a hiss.
A gentle, warm and subtle hand
strokes the mine like supple sand.
A vivid and stentorian voice
joins the choir of paradise,
a glimpse of what was to be found
in dulcet ink, so skillfully bound.
“Spur those frail and teary eyes,
your time has yet to come!
What has been has got to pass,
like autumn’s dreary plum!”
A spark of new beginnings,
the deepest of desires,
the first of which is gleaming,
awaiting to arise.
HEAVY PROG ROCK OF THE HIGHEST CALIBER! How this has flown under the radar of so many rockers is beyond me! Lyrics are soulfully deep & Johannes belts them out like Ian Gillan in his prime. GREAT VOCALS! Wonderfully expressive range! Songs are very interesting, diverse & creative. Truly, works of art. Drumming is spectacular, oft reminding me of Peart. Keys are very active & give this music a classic rock feel. The whole band excels! Ty, P.I.! FFO of Deep Purple & U. Heep. 8.5+/10. Alrihkh

Wow! What a great album. Lots of great songs and great production. Some impressive guests as well like Jon Davison and Billy Sherwood of Yes. This album should be in every prog rock lovers collection. marcusalmightygemineye
