2. The Bed In The Sky My tender blanket keeps me warm, yet no comfort I require. My springy mattress holds me firm, still rest I don’t desire. Tucked away from ill and fray, so far away from life. Flying with the birds of prey, yet inside dwells the strife. Heed my cry you mortal souls and take me, for this lorn eternity will break me! See me! Feel me! Looking ‘round my room, there’s only wretched memories. Still they do not understand, it feels like centuries. Stuck behind a wall of gold, lordly, fooled and blind, they who should have helped me grow, left their girl behind. They left their girl behind… See me! Feel me! All I see is empty pages staring at me, waiting to be bearers of the wonders to be. Waiting for what I could never fathom to know, unseen, unheard unwillingly since ages ago. Words have been my sanctuary, soaking up the tears, but they do not tell a tale… not one I want to hear. They speak of dreams and fantasies and unfulfilled desire, a blurry guise to illustrate my innermost inquire. Hush now girl and don’t you dare! You know Daddy made you swear! The shelf I find most interesting, whatever there may be.. Curious I’ve always been and stories are for me. All those words and tales, that are so different from my own. I lose myself for just one breath, don’t feel like flesh and bone. The thirst is overcoming me, I’ll never know enough. And I will comprehend it all, I do not care how tough. There is, however, riddles, that I can’t demystify. Words can give you reasons, but they do not tell you why. To whom may read those humblest lines, stay prying, bright and strong. Reach for what you can’t achieve, you know where you belong!

3. The One Who Saw “Why don’t you reach out and aim for the stars? A fistful of freedom and splendor in jars! What you experience is not what you are! Your path might be stony, but not quite that far.” She left us on a tuesday night, in company of storm and fright. And still, her words do resonate, like haunting thoughts within my head. Naked to the bone I felt, whenever in her arms she held that spiteful me, so filled with awe, she’s the only one, who saw. Infusing me with hope and will that one day things will change, and still I’m waiting for that day to come, while all that hope and will is gone. Here’s in loving memory, a few words bound with melodies, to you, the one who sheltered me through the longest nights. To whom may read those humblest lines, fear not to be alone, for someone’s bound to watch with care and empathy to show.

4. The Jailed Bird Conceived in waves of explosive love, grown in the presence of mindless thought, born to the dance of flesh and pain, raised by my hand, as you forgot my name. Your eyes are dull, yet strangely bright, focused and cunning with wintry smiles. I was thirsty for knowledge, a lighthearted child, as I tried to reach out, but was fiercely denied. The ignorance blooms in your cowardly guise, as you hold in your hands the grand champion’s prize. I was bedded in cotton, obeyed your device, as I tried to be seen, to your ghoulish delight. Your logic dispelled the dancing of light, denied its existence and cut all the ties. I woke up, first warding the brute force of truth, as I tried to imagine, but just saw abuse. You watched as I withered from your moral demise and laughed as you made me recite your lies. I was trapped in a web of magnificent size as I opened my eyes and then finally reclined. Puppets caught in a morbid game, with delusions of grandeur and fear for their name. You jailed a bird and ripped out its voice to “protect it from hurt”, but you left me no choice, but to scream as I shatter that tormenting chain and escape, never to be seen again.

The Vigilant 04:39
5. The Vigilant Roses’ petals drop, solemnity’s abound, empty faces, listless gazes staring at the ground. Staring at my yearning, yet miles and miles away, they watch their bitter earning with eyes that go astray. Here I lie in peaceful bliss, without a word, without a hiss. A gentle, warm and subtle hand strokes the mine like supple sand. A vivid and stentorian voice joins the choir of paradise, a glimpse of what was to be found in dulcet ink, so skillfully bound. “Spur those frail and teary eyes, your time has yet to come! What has been has got to pass, like autumn’s dreary plum!” A spark of new beginnings, the deepest of desires, the first of which is gleaming, awaiting to arise.

6. The Last Unheard Call Why don’t you come with me? See what we could have been! Graceful and tenderly reeling the rope back in. Open your eyes for me! See what you couldn’t see! Prideful and forcefully burning the bridge between.
